Sort of gotten over prelim grades. I guess. I should be satisfied with what I have.

Sometimes I just feel so inadequate, like a total failure. Sometimes God makes me see that I can be someone great for Him.

Life was like a roller coaster for me this week, with major ups and downs. But still, I thank God for putting me through tests, because He plans for me to emerge stronger.

I hate the judgemental me. I hate the jealous me. I hate the defiant me. I hate the doubting me. But all in all, I am ever so precious in His sight.

Stop asking for miracles. It's already a miracle that you wake up every morning to embrace the wonderful sunshine :)

Grace worm lent me a pocket size devotional booklet on the book of Jonah. Yup, the book about a man being swallowed by a big fish. Although Jonah is only 2 pages long in the thousand over paged Bible, the experiences Jonah went through is probably enought to last him for a lifetime.

What I've learnt from Jonah:
1) Don't hate your enemies. It isn't right for us to condemn or judge anyone. The people of Nineveh were corrupt and evil, but the compassion of God is enough to move the entire city and call them to repentence.

2) When God asks you to go, just go. Don't be like Jonah who refused to heed God's calling and end up in the belly of a fish. I'm sure when the Lord calls you He wouldn't lead you to destruction! Go in faith, and see how mightily He can work in your life.

What I've learnt during cell this week:
1) Be consistent in your quiet time! It is ever so important to maintain a healthy relationship with Him, just like how important it is to communicate with family members and friends right.

2) Love Him at all times. Love Him when your enemies persecute you. Love Him when circumstances are against you. If you only love Him when things are going your way, how different are you from the non-believers?

So, even though I feel tired and stress up over studies, I am reminded that God is Jehovah Jireh. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God..and all these things shall be added onto you".
